đď¸ Faithfulcrum â Season 2, Episode 1
âWe Are for Making Meaningâ
In this premiere episode of Season 2, Mark and Scott dive deep into a rich, reflective conversation on meaning-making, creativity, memory, and art. From personal revelations to poetic philosophy, they explore how humans â like bees making honey â are driven to shape beauty, culture, and connection out of the raw material of life.
This conversation sparked the creation of five brand-new original songs, written and released through this episode. Each lyric was crafted in response to the themes of their dialogue: how we frame experience, how meaning flickers into being, and how stories help us stay connected to what matters most.
đ Featured Original Songs:

Mark and Scott have been in conversation for fifty years. Born twenty-six days apart into the same complicated religious tradition, they grew up fluent in scripture and shape note singing âsteeped in a culture of certainty and devotion.Â
Scott is a poet, author, educator, songwriter, and community creator. Mark, an educator, performer, provocateur. Together, they bring a shared curiosity to every encounter.
